Halton Regional Police say an 18 year old forestry worker has died from his injuries after being struck by a tree on Friday. This is the third weather related death in the region this weekend.

Many are still cleaning up the aftermath of the storm.

Two forestry workers were struck by a falling tree while on the job near Milton on Friday, they were working in winds that gusted up to 120 kilometres an hour.

One of the men, a 28 year old, died that same day. His 18 year old colleague was taken to the hospital fighting for his life. Today, Halton police say that man has also died from his injuries.

In Hamilton, a man in his 50’s was also killed as a result of the storm, after being electrocuted by fallen hydro wires.

The wind wreaked havoc across the region, taking down trees and making driving dangerous.

Many people have been out of power for over 36 hours.

All around Hamilton, trees came down, some smashing through fences, others falling on driveways.

Alectra Utilities says there were still 187 customers without power Sunday across the Greater Golden Horse Shoe. At the peak of the storm, 93,000 customers in the Hamilton area did not have power. Representatives say power will be restored to all of Hamilton by Sunday night.
