Here’s what to expect tonight on the Evening News at 6 p.m.

The U.S. military action in Venezuela is drawing international attention and sparking conversation right here in our area. Harry Corro spoke with local residents to get their reaction to the incident.

In Brantford Sunday morning, a massive fire broke out at a commercial property in the Homedale neighbourhood, knocking out power for nearly 3,000 residents in the dead of night. Roger Collins was on scene speaking with residents and officials about the blaze.

Niagara police were on scene in Welland Sunday morning investigating an alleged hit-and-run that left one person in hospital and a dog dead.

Later in the show, Adam Atkinson will speak with Jane Boulden, a political science professor from the Royal Military College of Canada, about the consequences of Trump’s intervention in Venezuela.
