Here’s what to expect tonight on the Evening News at 6 p.m.

Adam Atkinson is on the desk tonight.

Ontario Provincial Police have issued a shelter-in-place order in Simcoe amid an active incident involving potentially armed individuals.

It’s day two of the investigation into a suspicious fire that happened early Friday morning in Burlington. Danielle de Graauw was on scene talking to authorities about the fire.

A suspect has been arrested here in Hamilton in connection with stabbings in Toronto which police say were unprovoked.

The Hamilton Fire Department responded to an aircraft emergency at John C. Munro Airport early this morning.

It’s been a long wait for Hamilton families, but the doors are officially open again. The Hamilton Children’s Museum reopened this weekend after nearly five years, and kids are already giving their stamp of approval. Harry Corro has the story.
