West Lincoln Mayor Dave Bylsma receives reprimand for radio comments

Niagara Regional Council has voted to reprimand West Lincoln Mayor Dave Bylsma for comments he made on the radio.

Complaints were made to the integrity commissioner, whose investigation found Bylsma broke the code of conduct three times. The report recommended Bylsma be reprimanded.
He received his reprimand Thursday night but did not apologize for his comments. He did say he feels “marginalized” as a Christian often because he is firm in his beliefs.
