Welland Canal Glendale Avenue bridge to close Monday, Tuesday

The Welland Canal bridge at Glendale Avenue in St. Catharines will be temporarily closed for parts of Monday and Tuesday for the completion of maintenance work.

The closure will block all vehicular and pedestrian traffic from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. as the work on the bridge is completed.

The St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation says it will work to minimize any inconvenience to the public as the preventative maintenance is performed.

Drivers and pedestrians are asked to avoid the area during the time of the scheduled closures.
