Weekend delays expected for Hamilton GO buses going to Toronto

Hamiltonians taking the GO bus to Toronto this weekend may have to look into a different method of transportation to avoid delays.

Service for GO bus route 16 may be adjusted due to road closures in Toronto’s west end.

The weekend road closures are a result of all the events happening in Toronto, such as the Honda Indy races, a Zack Brown Band concert, Blue Jays games and others.

GO Transit encourages people coming from Hamilton to take the Lakeshore West GO train from Aldershot station and to keep checking their website for updates. Otherwise, GO Transit and UP Express services are expected to run as normal this weekend.

Employees will be available at Exhibition station to help passengers with directions.

Anyone going to the Honda Indy races can also purchase a GO Weekend Pass.
