Washrooms at an Ancaster baseball diamond trashed

Hate speech and obscene imagery were splattered all over the bathroom walls of Ancaster’s little league baseball club.

Chris Davies, the grounds manager, came in Monday morning to see the men’s bathroom door knocked down, two broken sinks, a broken urinal, as well as smashed toilets and stalls. The vandals tagged L9K, a postal code in the Meadowlands area of Ancaster.

Hamilton police are still investigating the vandalism. Councilor Lloyd Ferguson says the city is going to invest in setting up cameras to prevent further incidents.
