Wallenda reacts to safety rules

Daredevil Nik Wallenda completed his final two practices at his training site in Niagara Falls, New York this morning.

Afterwards he held a news conference where he spoke about his discomfort at being told he must wear a tether safety harness when he performs his big walk across the falls this June.

“I will be rehearsing with it because it is something that will be uncomfortable for me and something i’ve never done before so it’s definitely something I will be training with.”

Wallenda says the device is still being custom designed and it will be made so that he will be able to remove it if it should become tangled or hinder him in any way.
