When the Tiger-Cats released Martell Mallett last month, it left Chevon Walker as the main man in the running back department.

The 26 year old Jamaican-born Walker is coming off an impressive rookie season where he split running back duties with the now-departed Avon Cobourne. Natalie Marconi reports Walker is the front runner for the starting job.
