It was beautiful weather for the Virgil stampede Monday.

This is the 48th year for the stampede. People of all ages were out enjoying the midway and the games — and of course the carnival food. The stampede kicked off on Saturday with a concert by Kim Mitchell. It wraps up late tonight with a fireworks display.
