A vigil was held Friday night for the seven-year-old boy killed by an HSR bus on Dec. 12.

Max Simao was struck and killed by the bus shortly after he and his mom got off near Wilson and Emerald streets.

The young boy’s parents, along with several members of the community, attended the vigil at J.C. Beemer Park.

Max was on his way home from school with his mom when the accident happened.

Hamilton police are still investigating, but say nobody was at fault in the collision.
