Views mixed on election debate winners/losers

The only televised provincial leaders debate was held tonight. And not surprisingly, the Liberal record and series of scandals, and the Conservatives’ plan to cut public sector jobs were front and centre. Liberal leader Kathleen Wynne was on the defence from the start of the 90-minute debate and apologized several times for the gas plants scandal.

After the debate, each of the leaders addressed the media — and assessed their own performances.
