VIDEO: St. Catharines pickup truck driver wanted for pushing SUV through red light

Niagara police have released video showing a pickup truck pushing another vehicle through a red light in St. Catharines in hopes of identifying the driver.

It happened around 6:45 p.m. on March 23 at the intersection of Welland Avenue and Niagara Street.

The surveillance video shows a beige SUV stopped at a red light before a black Ford F-150 rear-ends it and pushes it through the red light, narrowly missing other vehicles.

The pickup truck then fled the scene.

Investigators say they do not believe the drivers are known to each other at this time.

No one was injured in the collision.

Police are now searching for a white woman with blonde hair who was driving the two-door pickup truck. Officers are urging her to come forward.
