Israeli entrepreneurs have dramatized the plight of a Jewish teenager murdered by the Nazis by imagining what her stories would be like on Instagram.

Eva Stories is a project that launched for the annual Holocaust Memorial Observances in Israel. The project was endorsed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The filmmakers wanted to enliven fading Holocaust memories in a story relatable and relevant to todays society and chose Instagram to tell it. Their hope was that people would follow Eva as her journey becomes more difficult and as she starts to experience some of the more horrific parts of the story.
