The pair accused of plotting to bomb a Via Rail train appeared in a Toronto court Monday via video link.

30-year old Chiheb Esseghaier of Montreal and 35-year old Raed Jaser will appear for pre-trial on September 23rd. The two are charged with plotting an attack on a passenger train that runs between Toronto and New York City. Esseghaier will represent himself, while Jaser has a lawyer.
