UN wants investigation into Gadhafi’s death


Momammar Gadhafi will not be buried until his death is examined by the International criminal court.

That announcement came after the office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights called for a probe into his death.

Yesterday, there was wild celebration in Tripoli as news of Moammar Gadhafi’s capture and killing spread.

69-year old Gadhafi was shot in the head and legs in crossfire between his loyalists and the forces of the revolutionary government during a battle in his hometown of Sirte.

French forces had stopped the convoy by air.

Gadhafi was found hiding in a drainage ditch pleading for his life.
