U.S. voices concern as multiple hospitals in Gaza hit by strikes

Israel has revised the death toll from the October 7th Hamas terror attacks from 1,400 to about 1,200, saying some of the unidentified bodies belong to Hamas.

Thousands of Palestinians fled from Gaza City’s largest hospital today, following a series of blasts hit in and around the building.

People, including children, were injured and killed outside the Al-Shifa hospital – staff are blaming the explosions on Israeli forces, who have long accused Hamas of operating in tunnels underneath.

A spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces says the military doesn’t fire on hospitals but says quote “we’ll do what we need to” if Hamas is firing from hospital grounds.
