The United States Secretary of State is in Canada today.

This is Antony Blinken’s first official visit. He will meet with Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mélanie Joly and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

During the visit, Joly and Blinken will discuss the humanitarian crisis in Haiti and the country’s request for military intervention from Canada and the U.S.

They will also have formal talks on Iran, the Arctic, the Indo-Pacific region and support for Ukraine.
