Two teens arrested in human trafficking investigation

A human trafficking investigation has led to the arrest of an 18-year-old woman and a 16-year-old male in Hamilton.

The two teenagers are facing several charges including advertising sexual services, forcible confinement, assault with a weapon, and uttering threats of death.

Hamilton Police Vice and Drug detectives launched an investigation on December 21 that involved a 19-year-old female victim.

Hamilton police say they are not releasing the identities of the accused to protect the safety of the victim.
