Two people hospitalized after two-vehicle collision on Mud Street East: police

Hamilton police say two people have been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle collision on Mud Street near Eighth Road East.

According to officers, the collision involving a transport truck and an SUV occurred around 3:30 p.m.

As a result, the two occupants of the SUV were transported to hospital with injuries.

Firefighters say when their crews arrived, it was confirmed that no patient was trapped.  One patient was in the care of the Hamilton paramedics. Absorbent was applied for some fluid spill from the vehicles involved.
