Two people charged in Thorold drug investigation: Niagara police

A man and woman from Thorold face charges following an investigation by Niagara Regional Police.

Officers had been investigating the illegal sale of drugs from a home on Clairmont St., near Chapel St. S.

A woman identified as a suspect was arrested on Wednesday. Police executed a search warrant and seized suspected fentanyl, cocaine, and hydromorphone along with $300.

Candy Noreen Stewart, 51, of Thorold, was arrested and is facing drug trafficking charges.

Travis Gillan, 51, of Thorold was found at the home and was arrested. He’s been charged with failing to comply with a release order.
