Two men arrested following overnight robbery in Hamilton

Two men have been arrested and at least one suspect is still outstanding after an overnight robbery on Hamilton Mountain.

Officers were called to the Shoppers Drug Mart at Upper Wellington St. and Mohawk Rd. just before midnight on Monday.

Police say merchandise was stolen from the store and some of the items have since been recovered. No one was injured during the incident.

Members of the Ontario Provincial Police and the Hamilton BEAR Unit were on scene investigating.

When asked if any weapons were used during the robbery, police said they would not comment as to not jeopardize the investigation.
