Brantford police have arrested two men and seized $22,000 worth of illegal drugs in a traffic stop on Friday.
Officers say at around 11:15 p.m. they spoke with a driver at a traffic stop on House Avenue and observed cannabis in clear view, which is in violation of the Cannabis Control Act.
The two men in the car were then placed under arrest and the car was searched by detectives.

Police say they found and seized 232 grams of cocaine, 70 grams of Methamphetamine, 14 grams of crack cocaine, a large amount of Canadian currency and cell phones.
Investigators arrested a 19-year-old from North Dumfries, Ont. and a 20-year-old from Flamborough, Ont.
Both men were charged with having care or control of a vehicle with cannabis available, possession of cocaine, methamphetamine and crack cocaine.
They have both been held ahead of their bail hearing, according to police.
