Mother and three children killed in horrific crash in Brampton

Update: The SIU says a 37-year-old mother and her three young daughters, ages 1, 4 and 6 were killed in the crash. A man in his 20’s from another vehicle is in critical condition.

The collision happened just after noon, it involved four vehicles at the intersection of Torbram Road and Countryside Road.

Peel Regional Police say Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit has taken over the case.

The SIU is called in when police are directly involved in incidents that lead to injuries or death, but it’s still unclear what role law enforcement played
