It’s now been confirmed that the two men found dead in a Mississauga pond are Oakville brothers missing since Friday. While police are still investigating how their car wound up in the water, neighbours tell us this isn’t the first time they’ve seen it happen.

Police haven’t confirmed their identities, but Mohammed Khan, the boys father told CHCH the bodies of 22 year old Hamza Khan and his brother 20 year old Sharuka Khan were pulled from the pond at 10th line and Thomas street in Mississauga yesterday along with the 2011 BMW they were driving.

Peel police marine unit are still trying to put the clues together about what happened Friday night but residents from the area say this isn’t the fist time this has happened this year.

“First one was a Dodge Charger went through the lights with two guys inside they didn’t discover the car til the next day.”

That crash happened in June except that time two people walked away, able to escape through an open window. In this accident the two boys were found dead in the water, the car’s windows were up but the sunroof was open.

Family friends say the Khan family is grieving the loss of Hamza and Shahruka.
