Two arrested in relation to drug investigation in Port Colborne

Niagara police say two people have been arrested in relation to a drug investigation in Port Colborne. 

In November of 2021, police started an investigation into two people who were allegedly selling fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine in the area of Welland Street and Durham Street.

On Dec. 9, officers say both people were arrested. A warrant was executed in the area of Welland Street and Durham Street and the following items were seized:

  • Fentanyl (16.2 grams) with a street value of $5670
  • Ccrystal methamphetamine (11.3 grams) with a street value of $1130
  • Crack/cocaine (8.7 grams) with a street value of $870
  • MDMA/GHB (32 mls) with a street value of $2340
  • $2,139 of Canadian currency
  • 9 boxes of Global knives with a value of approximately $1500 that had been stolen. 
  • Numerous prohibited weapons; a butterfly knife, a flick knife, 2 swords and 2 Zerodis blade claws 

Justin D. Roesler, 33-years-old, of Port Colborne and 58-year-old Marie Morin of Port Colborne was arrested and charged with multiple offences including possession of substances for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, possession of a weapon and more.
