Trump ‘serious’ about making Canada the U.S.’s 51st state

U.S. President Donald Trump said in an interview with Fox News he is serious about wanting Canada to become the country’s 51st state.
The interview aired during the Super Bowl LIX pre-show where he said, “I think Canada would be much better off being the 51st state.”
Trump also said he was not seen enough action from Canada and Mexico to stave off the blanket 25 per cent tariffs he has threatened to impose.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was caught overheard on a hot microphone Friday saying Trump is serious about his wish to annex Canada.
Trump also attended the Super Bowl Sunday night, becoming the first sitting president to watch the game in person.
