Trump orders military to ‘shoot and kill’ Iranian boats blocking Strait of Hormuz

VIDEO: U.S. President Donald Trump says a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon has been extended by three weeks after hosting a meeting with representatives from both countries at the White House.  The developments come after Trump has ordered the U.S. military to “shoot and kill” Iranian small boats choking the Strait of Hormuz. In a social media post Thursday morning, he said the military is intensifying it’s mine clearing efforts in the critical waterway. The move intensified the U.S.-Iran standoff in the Persian Gulf and raised questions about efforts to end the war. Meantime, Lebanon and Israel are set to begin a second round of direct talks at the White House Thursday to discuss the extension of a truce.
