The Trump administration has offered a 15-point ceasefire plan to Iran as the U.S. appears ready to seek an end to the war.

The plan was submitted to Iran by intermediaries from the Government of Pakistan, which has offered to host renewed negotiations between Washington and Tehran.

Iran says there are no talks with the U.S. and that Washington is in no position to negotiate.

The plan reportedly outlines key issues, including Iran’s ballistic missile and nuclear programs.

Meanwhile, about 2,000 members of the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division is expected to arrive in the Middle East in a few days.

A source told CNN the brigade will be the “ready unit,” prepared to be called on if needed.

The development is expected to include command staff and ground forces.

The war on Iran is in its fourth week, with the U.S. military relying on fighter jets, bombers and drones to strike more than 9,000 targets.
