Trudeau, Biden met in Mexico for ‘Three Amigos’ summit

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sat down with President Joe Biden on Tuesday ahead of the North American Leaders’ Summit opening in Mexico City.

PM Trudeau and President Joe Biden met for the first time today since the Summit of the Americas in June.

The White House has confirmed that Joe Biden will make his first official visit to Canada in March.

The two leaders are scheduled to meet with Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador Tuesday afternoon to begin the North American Leaders Summit.

They are expected to discuss issues concerning trade disputes over dairy markets, the automotive sector as well as the Nexus trusted-traveler program.
