Truck recovered after fatal lake plunge

(Updated) A 43 year old Burlington man was killed early this morning after the pick-up truck he was driving plunged in to Lake Ontario.

The man was pulled from the vehicle by firefighters just after 12:30 this morning. The truck was southbound on Burloak Drive when it crossed Lakeshore Road and drove into the water.

A dive team from Peel Regional Police recovered the truck at 11:15 am.
