Trades and Techfest set for October in Niagara region

The fourth annual Trades and Techfest is set for this fall in Niagara.
The ‘fest’ allows high school students to meet more than sixty employers and helps to educate students on the trades and technology-related jobs. Construction, transportation, green industries and technological design are a few of the sectors represented.
Last year over 1,000 students were in attendance.
The event is scheduled for Oct. 23 at E.L. Crossley Secondary School in Fonthill. Interested businesses are invited to register.
Trades and Techfest is organized by the District School Board of Niagara and all area high schools will attend this year’s event.
