Toronto shooting

The SIU has been called in after a fatal shooting in Toronto’s entertainment district early this morning.

Police were called to Peter and Adelaide, just before 2am when an interaction between police and a man took place.

The man was shot by police soon after he was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The man shot is 21-year-old Kwasi Skene-Peters, who had been wanted by police for murder in the deaths of two men found in a toronto condo last month.

The two men were found dead in a 22nd floor building on Lisgar Street near Queen Street on June 28th.
