Toronto radio host Mike Bullard’s criminal harassment case has been put over until December 9.
Bullard is facing numerous charges related to allegedly stalking a woman he’d dated earlier this year.
The charges include criminal harassment, obstruction of justice and breaching conditions to stay away from the woman, who has been identified as Toronto television reporter Cynthia Mulligan.
In a interview with the Toronto Star, Bullard’s lawyer Arthur Stern said his client is facing a “very private, personal matter” and is dealing with “serious personal issues.”
The Star quotes Bullard as saying the charges stem from a “bad breakup” and it is a “very personal thing.”
Bullard once hosted late-night talk shows “Open Mike with Mike Bullard” and “The Mike Bullard Show.” Most recently he hosted “Beyond the Mic with Mike Bullard on Newstalk 1010, but reports say he lost that job earlier this fall after the criminal charges were laid.
