Toronto man arrested for human trafficking in Oakville

Halton police have arrested a Toronto man for human trafficking after he was seen assaulting a woman in public in Oakville.

Halton Regional Police responded to reports of a man physically assaulting a female victim in a public area in Oakville on Monday.

The suspect fled the scene before officers got there, but police learned that the man had also been trafficking the victim for sexual purposes, assaulting her several times.

Three days later, police were able to arrest 38-year-old Jahmane Bolton in Toronto.

He was charged with eight separate offences, including trafficking in persons, receiving material benefit from sexual services, and two counts of forcible confinement.

Bolton reportedly also goes by “Froth”, “Frost”, or “Juggernaut CEO”.
