Toronto City Council debate Wednesday

There have been several developments in the never-ending saga surrounding the Mayor of Toronto. City Council has voted in favour of asking the Mayor to take a leave of absense after he admitted to buying illegal drugs. But perhaps the most damning information came when a judge finally released the information previously blacked out in court documents. These documents suggest that people close to Mayor Ford were concerned about his use of drugs, drunk driving, and even the presence of suspected “prostitutes” in his office. We’ll bring you more on those documents in just a moment. But first, it was an explosive day at Toronto City Hall as councillors fired questions at the mayor. And at one point, one of them accused the Mayor of behaving in a threatening manner.
