Toronto-bound QEW reopens in Beamsville after police investigation
It was slow going for drivers travelling Toronto-bound on the QEW in Beamsville following an incident early Thursday morning.
Ontario Provincial Police closed the Toronto-bound QEW at Ontario Street shortly after 3 a.m. for an investigation.
The northbound on ramp from Ontario Street was also shut down.
The highway was closed for seven hours so officers could investigate a collision between a truck and a pedestrian that left an 18-year-old from Lincoln dead.
Police reopened all roads shortly after 10 a.m.
