People in the Windsor area are cleaning up this morning after a suspected tornado touched down last night.

An Environment Canada team will be on scene to survey the damage and try to confirm the tornado strike.

Windsor mayor Drew Dilkens says about 15 homes were damaged and three people suffered non-critical injuries.
