Tornado straps could save millions

We are living in one of the most tornado prone areas of Canada. Here in southern Ontario, on average, we’ll see at least ten of them between May and September.

As cities grow into previously unpopulated areas, so do the costs of repairing tornado damage. But as Scot Urquhart reports, research from Western University has uncovered a quick fix that could save millions of dollars with a modest investment.
