Toddler murder trial continues

One of the last people to see 2 year old Noah Keizer alive testified in court today. But what Ashlyn Kashuba told the court contradicted another eye witness.
At the time Kashuba was 16 years old, she was living and in a relationship with LaSandra Grey in Hamilton, one floor below Noah Keizer and his mother Nicole Agnew. Kashuba was also friends with Greg Dalley, who was babysitting Noah and is now on trial for Noah’s murder.
On July 13th 2012, Kashuba arrived home around 9:30pm, she saw Greg Dalley and LaSandra Grey standing on the balcony of the apartment where Noah lived with his mother. Kashuba says she walked into the apartment and immediately noticed that Noah had blood on his face, and swelling on his forehead. She says Dalley and Grey took Noah into the kitchen, cleaned him up, and put him to bed.
This contradicts the testimony of LaSandra Grey from last week. Grey said that she was the one who noticed that Noah was bleeding, after the 3 of them had been in the apartment together for a half hour. In that same testimony, the defense put forward the possibility that it was Grey, not Dalley, who hit Noah that night.
Kushuba said she asked if Dalley had called Noah’s mother, she says his reply was “no need, he’s fine.” Dalley later says by text that Noah had hurt himself. Kashuba, Grey and Dalley had plans to go out drinking once Noah’s mother arrived home. According to Kashuba, the 2 women went downstairs to get ready and they continued to text message with Dalley, who was waiting upstairs. They expressed frustration that Noah’s mother was late, something that was common. Then at 11:30pm Dalley knocked at the door, he was holding Noah, and said I don’t think he’s breathing.
