TIFF Canada’s Top Ten // Allure

TIFF Canada’s Top Ten film festival kicks off 2018 with a selection of must see films made right here in the great white north.

The feature film debut of celebrated photographer siblings Carlos Sanchez and Jason Sanchez, Allure is a dark, dramatic look at behaviour, relationships and abuse. Evan Rachel Wood stars as Laura, a role initially intended for a man, while Julia Sarah Stone co-stars as Eva, Laura’s 16-year old lover who runs away from home so the two can be together. The creative foursome talked to @brigittetruong during #TIFF17 about the allure of the project.

Canada’s Top Ten runs from Jan 12-21 and features the following films:
