Game two of the regular season, and game two of the Tiger-Cats Alberta road trip continues this evening as they face the Edmonton Eskimos at Commonwealth Stadium.

The Ticats played tough during last weeks loss to the Calgary Stampeders who didn’t play their best football. Edmonton on the other hand with will a handful as Hamilton will look to match Eskimos offense that’s led by reigning MOP Mike Reilly.

Helping to keep pace offensively will be the return of receiver Terrance Toliver to the Tiger-Cats pass attack.

362 days ago, Toliver suffered a season ending knee injury on the first offensive play from scrimmage in the Ticats first game of 2017 against the Argos at BMO Field.

Toliver has shown incredible patience and resolve in coming all the way back and should be a crucial difference maker in the teams receiving corps. At 6-foot-5 and 211 pounds, the 30 year old will provide game-breaking speed and that ‘long and lean’ target for quarterback Jeremiah Masoli.

Talking about quarterbacks, Mike Reilly was in mid-season form during last weeks 33-30 road win over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Reilly completed 32 of 46 passes for 408 yards which included a 101 yard touchdown toss to Derel Walker. Attempting to lock down arguably the best receiver in the league will be cornerback Delvin Breaux. The former Ticat playing his first game since spending 3 year with the New Orleans Saints.
