Three people arrested after an attempted break-in at Lincoln home

Niagara regional police have arrested three people Friday afternoon after two people attempted to break into a home in Lincoln.
Officers say they responded to a suspicious person call at 2:50 p.m. to the area of Connor Drive and Mountain Street.
They say the call mentioned two masked people were attempting to climb a balcony and force themselves into someone’s home.
The call also mentioned that a white BMW was seen parked in front of the home.
Police had stopped the BMW from leaving the area with a traffic stop.
As part of the investigation into the vehicle, officers found a 9mm Glock handgun, a quantity of illegal drugs, and Canadian currency.

A woman was arrested following the search of the BMW.
Two people who were attempting to break into the home tried to leave the area on foot, but were later found and arrested by police.
Officers have charged 29-year-old Courtney Wannan from Toronto, 24-year-old Camarr Brown of no fixed address, and 29-year-old Tristan Hudson-Rider from Mississauga with offences including possessing a restricted firearm and possessing cocaine and fentanyl for the purposes of trafficking.
Investigators say as part of the investigation, they seized: two kilograms of suspected cocaine, 20 suspected fentanyl tablets, around 60 grams of suspected fentanyl, a large quantity of jewelry valued at more than $100,000 and over $5,000 in Canadian currency.
All three were held in custody and were scheduled to attend a bail hearing March 22, at a St. Catharines courthouse.
Officers say the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police.
