Three arrests made, one man wanted in Niagara guns and gangs investigation

Police have arrested three people and have a warrant out for one man in a guns and gangs investigation in the Niagara region.

The investigation began at the start of the year and led police to identify two suspects.

Officers executed a search warrant at a home in the area of Kenmir Ave. and Tanbark Rd. in Niagara-on-the-Lake on Tuesday. Police say officers were shot at while entering the home.

They seized over $61,000 worth of fentanyl and a firearm.

Mashie Harper, 28, and Pietre Cleghorm, 34, were arrested and face several drug and weapons charges.

The investigation led police to a St. Catharines address where officers seized over $13,000 worth of fentanyl.

34-year-old Rohan Chad was arrested and charged and a Canada-wide search warrant was issued for 27-year-old David McComb.

Police say McComb is wanted for possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.
