Police in Thorold are looking for a man wanted for robbery.

They say he entered the Avondale store on Richmond Street just before midnight Sunday armed with a knife. He allegedly robbed the lone employee for a sum of money, before fleeing in a beige, 1999 Chrysler Cirrus that was stolen in St. Catharines earlier in the evening. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
