Thieves make off with $9,000 in vitamins from health food store in Burlington

Halton police are on the hunt for three men accused of stealing thousands of dollars in merchandise from a health store in Burlington.

Authorities say three men entered The Healthy Planet at 3500 Fairview Street on Jan. shortly after 6:36 p.m.

While there, they managed to grab $9,000 in vitamins and hide them on their persons before walking out without paying.

Investigators are circulating images and descriptions of the accused.

The first suspect is a 30 to 40-year-old man with light hair that is receding. He stands at an average height, has a medium build and was last seen wearing a black coat, light-coloured button-up shirt, dark pants and black Nike running shoes.

The second suspect is a 30 to 40-year-old man with a dark-trimmed beard. He’s tall and has a very large build. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, black scarf, grey jacket, a striped shirt, dark pants and dark shoes.

The last suspect is a 40 to 50-year-old man whose lower face was covered by a black mask. He stands at an average height, has a heavy build and was last seen wearing a yellow toque, yellow vest, cream-coloured shirt, black pants and black shoes.
