The viral Chinese zoo video is teaching people about sun bears

People are still talking about the viral video of a sun bear at a Chinese zoo that had the internet convinced it was actually a human in a bear suit.

Things got so out of hand that the zoo had to validate that four-year-old Angela is indeed a bear and not a human.

This prompted other zoos to share videos of their own resident sun bears.

The viral video is now having some unexpected but positive consequences and raising awareness about one of Asia’s most endangered and intriguing animals.

Scientists are hoping the added attention will help save the sun bears.
