The Old Farmer’s Almanac forecasts cold, dry winter for southern Ontario

Get your parkas ready, new long-range forecasts are out from The Old Farmer’s Almanac and the prediction is a cold, dry winter for southern and central Ontario.

For all of southern Ontario, the almanac projects that it will be coldest in December to early February.

It also predicts that it will be snowiest in late November and early to mid-February.

The northern and western regions of Ontario are forecast to be mild and snowy and the very eastern corner near Ottawa is expected to be mild and wet.
