The elusive dream of home ownership

Housing has become less affordable in the country’s urban centres and a new report released by the National Bank of Canada shows that it’s gotten even worse in the past few months. According to the bank, mortgage payments now eat up 45% of household income on average, the highest its been since 1994. Emily Tayler reports.
