Tests to be done on human skull

Hamilton Police are continuing their search of the escarpment in Stoney Creek after it was confirmed that a human skull was found by a hiker.
The skull needs to undergo further testing to determine the gender, age and how long it has been there. The remains were found near where Shirley Treadwell is believed to have been buried in 2009 by her niece, Melinda Evans.
Evans pleaded guilty to interfering with Treadwell’s remains, and cashing her social assistance cheques after she died.
